Identifying giftedness can help you understand yourself, adjust your environment, use your talents more fully, improve some relationships and support a child more appropriately.
If you are gifted, knowing it matters. Because knowing changes the lives of people with High Potential. It helps you understand your sense of experience of feeling different with most other people; fully use the talent that giftedness represents; stop suffering from your hypersensitivity, your empathy or your perfectionism; meet others who function similarly, for example through the association Mensa; better understand and improve your relationships; and fulfil yourself.
