They usually have features which are close to the other kind of giftedness, High Intellectual Potential (High IQ), such as:
- Great empathy,
- Developed intuition,
- Feeling very different from most people,
- Being emotionally sensitive,
- Great resilience.
How can I know if I have a High Emotional Potential?
HEP is detected during an emotional and personality assessment. This assessment allows to precisely determine the Emotional Quotient score and the characteristics of personality. Taking an IQ test (WAIS-IV for adults) is not necessary to detect HEP.
